The Secret Garden is one of Santa Barbaras oldest inns, formerly called the Blue Quail. The inn consists of a main house and four cottages set in a lush jasmine, Jacaranda and camellia filled garden. The intertwined branches of the Persimmon, Avocado and Pecan trees combined with the high hedges and private lawns add to the secrecy of the garden while Hummingbirds, blue jays and trickle of fountains add peace and tranquillity. All eleven rooms have private bathrooms and four of the suites have a private outdoor Hot Tub. Check-in is at 3 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions. As a bed and breakfast property, the Front Desk hours will vary guests should contact the property to find out more information.
